AES 2025 Abstract Submission is Open!

As the nation’s largest educational and scientific event for epilepsy professionals, the AES Annual Meeting is an ideal venue for clinicians and scientists to present research results to a global audience.

Authors will have the opportunity to present their research live in Atlanta and upload an ePoster to the virtual poster gallery for attendees to view for up to 90 days after the meeting.

Deadlines and Fees

	Submit on or before June 2, 2025	Submit between June 3-9, 2025
AES Members	$60	$120
Non-members	$90	$180

Abstracts submitted on or before Monday, June 2 will be subject to a non-refundable processing fee of $60 for AES members and $90 for non-members. Abstracts submitted between June 3 - June 9 will be subject to an increased, non-refundable processing fee of $120 for AES members and $180 for non-members.

If you would like to join AES as a member to submit at the member rate, please allow up to 5 business days for your membership payment to be processed before submitting your abstract.

The submission site will close Monday, June 19 at 12:00 PM (noon) Pacific Time.

AES 2025 Presentation Information

Accepted abstracts will be assigned to one of the three days the in-person poster hall is open. Author-present times are from 12:00 to 2:00 PM each day.

Saturday, December 6, 2025, 12:00 - 2:00 PM
Sunday, December 7, 2025, 12:00 - 2:00 PM
Monday, December 8, 2025, 12:00 - 1:45 PM

Types of Presentations

Posters:  Posters are required to be hung in the poster hall for the entirety of the day assigned. The first/presenting author is required to commit to the author-present time.

Platform Presentations:  The presenting authors of abstracts selected for a platform presentation will be asked to give a ten-minute presentation followed by a five-minute Q&A session during Saturday afternoon and Monday afternoon platform sessions. Platform presentations are in addition to each presenter's assigned day in the poster hall.

Pediatric Highlights:  The presenting authors of abstracts selected for a pediatric highlight presentation will be asked to give an eight-minute presentation on Monday afternoon during the Pediatric Highlights session. This presentation is in addition to each presenter's assigned day in the poster hall.

Please note that presenting authors of all accepted abstracts are required to register for and attend the AES Annual Meeting.

Presenting authors representing exhibiting companies are required to have a full meeting registration. Exhibit hall-only passes will not suffice.
