Submit an Abstract

The call for abstracts for the 2022 Annual Meeting is open! Submissions must be received by 12:00 PM (noon) PT on Wednesday, June 8. 


As the nation’s largest educational and scientific event for epilepsy professionals, the AES Annual Meeting is an ideal venue for clinicians and scientists to present research results to a global audience.

Authors will have the opportunity to present their research live in Nashville and upload an ePoster to the virtual poster gallery for attendees to view for up to 90 days after the meeting.

Deadlines and Fees

Abstracts submitted on or before Wednesday, June 1 will be subject to a non-refundable processing fee of $50 for AES members and $75 for non-members.

Abstracts will be accepted June 2 – June 8 for an increased processing fee of $100 for AES members and $150 for non-members.

If you will be submitting an abstract and applying for AES membership, please allow up to 5 business days for your membership payment to be processed before submitting your abstract to receive the member rate.

Submission Deadline: The submission site will close Wednesday, June 8 at 12:00 PM (noon) PT.

 

AES 2022 Presentations

Poster: Posters are required to be hung in the poster hall for the entirety of the day assigned. The first/presenting author is required to commit to the author-present time (12:00 - 2:00 PM CT).

Platform Presentations: Abstracts selected for a platform presentation will be asked to present a ten-minute presentation followed by a five-minute Q&A session during Saturday afternoon and Monday afternoon platform sessions. Platform presentations are in addition to presenters' assigned day(s) in the poster hall.

Pediatric Highlights: Abstracts selected for a pediatric highlight presentation will be asked to present an eight-minute presentation on Monday afternoon during the Pediatric Highlights session. This presentation is in addition to presenters' assigned day(s) in the poster hall.

Please note that first/presenting authors of all accepted abstracts are required to register for and attend the AES Annual Meeting. The abstract submission fee does not cover any portion of the registration fee. AES 2022 rates have not yet been set. AES 2021 rates are provided for reference and planning purposes.
