People with epilepsy often face unique challenges that can feel overwhelming and affect their ability to confidently and effectively manage the various aspects of daily life. Research shows that outcomes can be improved for people with epilepsy if they follow an evidence-based program that helps them manage their day-to-day routines. This interactive eModule teaches learners about the challenges people with epilepsy can and how self-management programs can support providers and patients in managing epilepsy well.

Clinical pearls for each anti-seizure medication are given to inform medication choice targeted toward reducing drug interactions, management of comorbid conditions, and reducing side effects.
